Once I really hated me
\nA self induced catastrophe
\nOthers began to hate me too

When I look in any mirror
\nEach reflection is my own
\nIf I dislike that which I am

In Self Acceptance let me grow
\nTo hereby let all others know
\nI want them to accept me too

Sweet Self, I’m sorry for the pain
